Training course Introduction to power system protection

Two-day course providing participants with an introduction to protection technology and communication technology

Description:
This course is part of a series of three courses on power system protection. This first two-day session lays the basis for the remaining sessions and is also an introduction to protection technology for engineers new to the subject. Basic concepts are explained including fault current calculations. The session also includes an introduction to communication technology.

Besides this course, two other sessions have been developed that address the following topics: 
>Overcurrent & earth fault protection (a three-day session) 
>Differential and impedance protection (a three-day session)

The courses have been developed in cooperation with several KEMA experts in this field. For more information, please refer to the brochure.
