KEMA’s 2nd annual forum facilitated discussions on how emerging environmental policies and government stimulus in energy infrastructure and efficiency could shape the industry and how U.S. and European utilities were responding to changes.   

 

The forum, "Navigating energy sustainability," was was held June 17–19, 2009, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC. Read the 2009 Utility of the Future executive summaries, available under "Downloads" in the menu on the right. 

Panel topics of the 2nd annual forum included: a financial outlook, smart grid operational infrastructure, regulatory and policy directions and impacts, generation and carbon control, carbon policy, storage developments, plug-in vehicles, and the customer.
