KEMA recognized among top multi-service consulting firms

Consulting magazine’s annual survey also lists KEMA as a Top 10 Firm in both Culture and Work/Life Balance

The August 2010 issue of Consulting magazine, recognized KEMA, a leading authority in energy consulting, and testing and certification, as one of “The Best Firms to Work For in 2010” in several categories. The annual survey of professional consulting firms ranked the firm #4 in the Multi-Service category. A multi-service firm blends one or more of the following consulting services: strategy, operations management, human resources, IT consulting and implementation, and business advisory services.

Among the Top 10 Firms across the categories presented, KEMA was ranked #9 for the Top 10 Firms in Culture and #10 for the Top 10 Firms in Work/Life Balance. Consulting magazine defines culture as a reflection of the “shared values, standards, ethics, and goals of a firm”; work/life balance “reflects how well consultants perceive their firm as enabling them to balance their life outside of their day job.”

“We are pleased that KEMA has been recognized for the second year in a row as being a great place to work,” said Ray Huizenga, VP of Human Resources for KEMA, Inc. “We are always looking for ways to improve the work experience and make our culture one that attracts the best consultants. As a result, we have seen tremendous growth in our business even during the economic downturn and many career advancement opportunities for our consultants.”

Consulting magazine compiled the results for “The Best Firms to Work For, 2010" from a survey of nearly 8,000 consulting professionals that represented more than 200 consulting firms in 2009. The survey was based on an index scale of satisfaction levels from 1 to 5.
